Michael Dolan

Currently, Michael is privileged to serve on the Planning, Amenities and Finance Committees of the Town Council.

Michael runs his own well-known and respected local business and has lived in Verwood since 1985. A successful career in companies such as Marconi and Plessey provided a wealth of management experience which has been followed by some years’ involvement in community-based interests. A regular churchgoer, Michael is a keen advocate of social justice and local representation in Verwood’s future.

In recent years, he has been involved with Community Advocacy for those with Learning Difficulties, bus driving for elderly and disadvantaged social groups, assisting unemployed people start their own cooperative businesses, and other social community interests.
