Jane Russell

I was born and brought up in London where I went to school and then university.

From 1972, when I moved to Dorset, until 2005, when I took early retirement, I worked as a Software Engineer for BAE Systems at Christchurch (formerly Plessey, then Siemens).

I have lived in Three Legged Cross with Vic Redpath since 1974.

I am interested in learning foreign languages and using them when on holiday in Europe.

We have a sailing boat which we keep at Poole during the summer and use most weekends and for short holidays when we have time.

I also enjoy walking and gardening.

I am a governor of Three Legged Cross First School and a volunteer at the Verwood Hub.

I have been a councillor for Three Legged Cross since July 2000 and was Verwood's Mayor 2006-7.
