Born London 1944.  Moved to Verwood 1979.  My wife and I operate the local mobile fish & chip shop.  I have two sons, both have grown up in Verwood.

I became a co-opted councillor in 1998 after helping residents organise a successful fight to save mature oak trees from the developer's chain saw.

In the 1999, 2003, 2007 elections I was elected on to the Verwood Town Council

I had the honour of serving as Mayor for our town during the Queen’s Golden Jubilee year when I was able to secure a suitable site for the skate park.

I was a Driving Instructor with B.S.M, and met my wife when she became a pupil in 1967.  This year we celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary.  We operated our own driving school for a number of years (M.O.T. approved instructor). I have held a passenger service vehicle licence, also a heavy goods vehicle licence.
