MESSAGE FROM OUR MAYOR

I wanted to write a few words to recognise last week as Volunteers week and this week as Carers Week.

On behalf of Verwood Town Council and all the people who have been helped by the kind Volunteers and Carers, I would like to thank all those who have gone above and beyond, not only during this pandemic crisis, but on a regular basis as well.  The crisis has highlighted the important work both Volunteers and Carers do every

                               hour of every day.

The community spirit has been amazing with people

looking after people by helping with shopping, driving,

visiting, providing services, phoning and caring for

                               family, friends and neighbours.

It reminds me of what a lovely place we live in and the

amazing community we are a part of.

Best wishes to you all and stay safe.

COUNCILLOR MRS PAT MORROW - 8th June 2020
